Visitors to the Etiqueta Negra stand will have the chance to live a new user experience connecting the virtual and real worlds. iPad stations will be set up where visitors can obtain all the information about the new f/w 2012-13 collection and see the details of the outfits displayed on the 30 mannequins inside the 300 square meters of the Sala delle Colonne, Monumental Area.
This highly refined setting welcomes the visitors with the live notes of the piano, which gently accompany them around the stand while sipping on a chalice of champagne.
This year, Etiqueta Negra has decided to break away from the traditions of the past, with a scenic setting that gives ample space to the collection, where its true value is shown through the presentation of complete outfits.
The sport of polo and vintage racing cars are the two inspiring passions for the brand, and still distinguish the elegant collection. Polo is not only found in the sportswear collection, but has become a lifestyle and has discretely contaminated a significant part of the daywear collection.
Vintage racing cars are the inspiration for the capsule collection dedicated to the racing champion Tazio Nuvolari. Thanks to the research that has been conducted into the historic archives about this great champion, he will receive a true celebration, with models designed by drawing on the clothes he used to wear, and others that celebrate his personality and victories, especially the victory in Donington in England in 1938.
The Product is the starting point (and important finishing line) for this new Collection. The garments that have been the brand’s core business in the various seasons have undergone innovative and surprising revamping, with new design features and details that have to be discovered in each single item.
Each garment has been designed as a real outfit, where the colour is an accessory. Discrete overlapping creates clear colour contrasts which liven up the garment and bestow it with multi-faceted personalities and styles. The apparently simple, single-colour garment can be transformed and changed through a play of double cuffs, crew-necks that open to become stand-up collars, bands around the waist that reveal colourful flaps.
This device has been used in the button-neck sweaters, shirts and knitwear, where the colour is introduced through stranded thread which gives a delicate and discrete effect that is true to the brand’s chic nature.
Sweatshirts are proposed in a wide range of models, fittings and washes, matching different fabrics and colours, with elegant feminine grosgrain details in the women’s garments.
An innovative use has been made of gabardine, which particularly distinguishes the sportswear line, using it in the new collection in details like patches, cuffs and sleeve guards, to play down the serious rigour of the more classic garments like shirts, and to give a new touch to button-neck sweaters and sweatshirts.
There is a rich and complete range of outerwear: down, nylon, leather and knitted in a wide variety of weights making them versatile and suitable for any need.
Denim jeans are available in regular and comfort fitting for men in different washes, and two slim and super slim fittings for women.
The range of accessories has been extended: footwear ranging from sneakers to riding style boots, in smart, casual, flat or heeled models. Leather and nylon bags in all sizes. Belts, hats and scarves complete each look in true Etiqueta Negra style.
The women’s collection has its roots in the men’s collection, but enhances the figure with comfortable fittings and fabrics, elegantly stylish with dresses in perfectly simple lines but with very precious and feminine details.
